Handbag Essentials

The Handbag essentials

Among the random things that can be found in my handbag at any one time, there are a few essentials that I can rarely leave the house without. The list can vary from time to time and depending on the day but there are a few things that never if even ever get taken out of my bag (bar when I'm changing to a new bag, and I suddenly decided to reassess the 20 pound weight I carry around also know as my handbag).

Number 1 on this list is, I would actually the bag itself (if that counts, I dunno?). Currently my bag of choice is my new Micheal Kors suede tote in Hunter. It is literally huge and fits pretty much everything I possibly need for an adventure to a dessert island, never mind what I need for class and running around town.
The second thing that I can't leave home without is my wallet. Now I normally have the biggest wallet (and i mean in actual size and not what's contained within it) but I recently got a smaller one and I can actually say that I have become much more conscious of what essentials I need with me in terms of cards and other wallet things. The one that I am using at the moment is a navy leather one, by Michael Kors (yes, I am obsessed!!!!!!). It is small but somehow fits everything and still has room for my phone in the middle.
Due to the fact that I am living in the States, I have two phones which is a total killer. I still use both of them most of the time but my true love is my iPhone. I cannot go anywhere without it, the gym, class, nights out, wherever I go it comes to. I don't think I will ever go back to another kind of phone, I'm too hooked on it now.
Another thing that I can't go anywhere without is my glasses. My eyes get seriously so tired when I'm reading or not the computer. At the moment I have a pair of Armani Black Rims which I love  they are a bit different just because the sides are yellow and that gives them that little something extra.
Again in terms of eye wear, I always have a pair of sunnies close by. Recently I have been having a love affair with my classic Ray-Bans. If they aren't on my head, they are buried somewhere in my bag, not too far away.
I love trying out new perfumes but the one that I always go back to is Lady Million by Paco Rabanne. For some reason it is always my go-to and has such a nice, non-overpowering scent. Adds the final touches to any outfit.
Sephora describes it as; "Vibrant and sensual, Lady Million is like a voluptuous nectar of flowers. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange and a hint of raspberry reveals the fragrance's first breath. Smooth and bright, a burst of neroli follows. Then the lethal weapon: heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness then reveals itself, bewitching and demanding all attention. Joining with sambac jasmine and underlined by gardenia, the blend soars into something more carnal—yet ever subtle. Now the obsessive pulsing of patchouli enters the fray, pacifying notes of honey with an addictive and supremely tempting sweetness. Amber endnotes become all enveloping, floating around like a ray of light on a diamond."
One thing I also love to have with me is a Moleskin notebook and a Black Pen. I love to write lists and make notes about things, so having these two things with me the whole time is super handy and allows me to write down things as soon as I think of them. I currently just have a plain black A5 one but I seriously love the one in my collage with the cassette on it so I am definitely investing in this one when I finish my current one.
Up until about last week, there was no place that I could go with a Beanie either on my head or in my bag. I have issues with being super cold and having a comfy knit hat with me sorts out that problem while still letting my outfit look cute. One of my favorites is a burgundy heavy turned up beanie from American Apparel,  it is so warm and looks good against my hair colour. So simple but cool as well.
I love makeup, I have such a passion for mixing things up and trying new looks. One easy way to do this is by changing your lip colour with a fun lipstick. At any one time, I probably have close to four or five lipsticks or glosses in my bag. My favorite at the moment is Diva by MAC because it is a little bit fun and complements a nice smokey eye. The best red lipstick I have ever found is by Channel, it is so classy and perfect for my colouring.
The final thing that I always have with me in my bag is a compact of MAC's studio fix in either NW15 or NW20, depending on how tanned I am. It is such a good powder and it has a great matte-ifying effect. Such a good invest and I have sworn by it for the past 3 years, should be a part of anyone's makeup bag.

Yeah, so that's basically all the things that travel with me on a daily basis, the only other thing that I could maybe include would be my net-book for taking notes in class and thankfully it also fits in most of my giant totes.
